Description of a place (Lina Quiroga)

Here we have a very nice picture. It was taken in Guatavita (Colombia) and I think it's very beautiful because it shows a natural and peaceful place.

I have chosen this picture because it reminds me when I was little and my family and me used to go on holidays to the village of my sister's godfather. I used to play with my cousins and sister running back and forth across the field.

I also played with the animals they had there.

I remember that cows scared me because I saw them too big so I thought that they could hurt me, but that feeling disappeared gradually as I was growing, although now I have a feeling of respect for them.

I think the field is one of the most beautiful and perfect places to be, because you have a direct contact with nature and you can feel comfortable and relaxed as long as you are there. It's like having a break away from city and all the responsabilities that it represents.

The picture shows us a green area with montains and trees. You also can see a precious blue sky and a house in the middle of the field.

I also can say that right now it would be the perfect place to be for the students because with all this pressure of the end of the year I think it is necesary to keep an open mind and forget about stress.
